The Illustrative formats for Financial Statements included in the Guidance Note on Financial Statements for Non-Corporate Entities have been given in this Excel file for ease of preparers. However, the formats of Financial Statements prescribed in the said Guidance Note and the relevant Accounting Standards shall be referred for the purpose of preparation and presentation of the financial statements.
.Configure the Setup Sheet: Select the entity type and fill in all required company details. Ensure you complete the dates, partner information, and authorized signatories.
.Map Your Trial Balance (TB Sheet): Paste your raw trial balance data (in rupees) into the TB sheet. Assign a Map Code to every row. If you are unsure which code to use, refer to the Map Guide sheet, which explains each code alongside examples of typical ledgers.
.Update Partner Capital (Capital Sheet): Enter Proprietor / partner’s opening balance, capital introduced, drawings, interest, and remuneration. The sheet will automatically distribute the share of profit based on your profit-sharing ratio and calculate the closing balances.
.Calculate Depreciation (Dep Sheet):Optional. Use this sheet to calculate your block-wise Income-Tax WDV (Written Down Value) depreciation. Once computed, book this amount in your Trial Balance against a ledger mapped to the DEPAM code.
.Verify and Export (Checks Sheet): Review the Checks sheet—every row must read PASS before proceeding. Once everything passes, you can confidently print or export your Balance Sheet (BS), Profit & Loss (PL), Notes, and Cash Flow statement (if enabled).
